SDS Skills & Professional Advancement Series Presents: Digital Humanities and AI Research Opportunities for Students
Calling all Statistics & Data Science Graduate Students and Postdocs!
Claudia Carroll and Gabi Kiriloff will discuss Digital Humanities research and resources at WashU, specifically the DASH minor, the Humanities Digital Workshop, and the AI Humanities Lab. The event will introduce participants to how Data Science and Computer Science methodologies can combine with Humanities content. They will focus on innovative research happening in these areas at WashU, particularly research on LLMs and generative AI, and cover opportunities for students to get involved through research, courses, and paid work opportunities.
