Spring 2026 Awards & Honors Ceremony

Arts & Sciences’ Department of Statistics and Data Science is proud to host our annual Awards & Honors Ceremony for our Undergraduate and Graduate students. Join us for this recognition event, where refreshments will be provided.

The Outstanding Master's Student Award will be presented to Yutian Han and Ran Hu, with Honorable Mentions going to Zekai Jin and Zhaoxuan Wang.

The department will present the awards for Outstanding Assistant in Instruction (AI) to PhD students Jacob Antici and Hangcen Zou. The award for Outstanding Qualifiers Performance will be presented to PhD student Yiqiao Jin, and the Graduate Service & Leadership Award will be presented to Alexandra Sabrio and Hangcen Zou, with Honorable Mentions going to Yi Luo and Yiqiao Jin.

The Senior Academic Excellence Award will be presented to Mike Tan and Peter Peng. The Junior Academic Excellence Award will be presented to Bella Dai, Logan Fox, Grace Lin, Emily Liu, and Muqing Niu. We will also recognize our Senior students who achieved Academic Distinction (Sarah He, Joshua Romero, Heidi Tamm) and High Distinction (Cindy Nan, Stephanie Yang).
