Professor Feldman earned his Ph.D. from Rice University in 2023, where he was awarded the James R. Thompson for excellence in pre-doctoral research. He then joined the Department of Statistical Science at Duke University as a postdoctoral scholar. Most recently, he has been developing methods for integrating external information explicitly into statistical models, which enables more accurate inferences when data are incomplete or not representative of the population under study. His papers have been recognized by the Bayesian statistical science, Government statistics, and Health Policy sections of the American Statistical Association.
