Yiqiao Jin, a second-year PhD student in Statistics & Data Science, has been selected to receive one of the International Biometric Society Eastern North American Region’s (ENAR) Distinguished Student Paper Awards for the ENAR 2026 Spring Meeting. The award recognizes his paper titled “Federated R-Learner for Estimating Conditional Average Treatment Effect across Heterogeneous Datasets”. The work was completed under the direction of Professor Nan Lin (Statistics & Data Science) and Professor Linying Zhang (Biostatistics).

 

As an award winner, Yiqiao’s work will be acknowledged during the ENAR 2026 Spring Meeting Presidential Invited Address on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
