    Bill Katsianos is excited to design and teach a wide variety of courses in the fields of statistics, data science, machine learning, stochastic models, optimization, probability and applied mathematics.

    Working with students over the years as an instructor and consultant has infused him with a passion for introducing new generations of students to the field of statistics and providing statistical assistance to researchers in various disciplines. His primary field of research lies in statistical genetics with a focus on developing novel statistical methods for the association analysis of infectious disease phenotypes jointly influenced by a pair of interacting organisms.
